Education 2009

It seems that 2009 brought the internet into the first row of the classroom. Many teachers are now using web services to exchange ideas to people all over the world. Sites like Facebook and Twitter are allowing students to exchange ideas with people all over the world. Personally. I have students who have "Skyped" with a classroom in Spain. It is an amazing tool to use in the classroom.
This post is part of the MAT@USC Hope for the holiday’s event. Did you have an experience or witness something in 2009 which gave you hope for the future of American education? If so, please see this post for more information on how to share it.
